How to create a frame by frame animation Once you have learned to create your flash banners, you can combine the animations to create great looking effects. This tutorial will create an animation that scroll text up, then adds in text from the left, then adds in text from the right, and then spins, shrinks, and fades the text. 1. Create an animation. Create your banner and select your animation from the animation tab. If you are going to have animation that does one thing and stop, set the number of loops on the Animation tab to one. For example, if you want an image or text to scroll in from beyond the screen once and then go onto a different animation, set the number of loops to one. In this example, we set all the number of loops of the animation (on the animation tab) to one. 2. Add it to the Frame by Frame Animation on the Save tab, or Add it on the Frame by Frame page. When you save your animations, you can easily add it to the frame by frame animation by checking the "Add to Frame by Frame" on the Save tab. If you forget, you can always add the images on the Frame by Frame animation by choosing "Add Flash" on the Frame by Frame page.
3. Create another animation. Repeat for as many as you need. In this instance, we add more text "Easy to use" and set the animation so that it scrolls in from the right. Once you have created your animation, save it with a different name. For this tutorial, we also created two more animations. We created an animation that adds in "Free 15 day trial" that scrolls in from the left. The final animation is an animation that spins, shrinks and fades the text. To prevent the text "Banner Maker Pro for Flash" from animating, click on the text and then uncheck the "Add Text to Animation". This will stop it from scrolling in from the left.
4. Add animations together on the Frame by Frame tab. Go to the Frame by Frame Animation page by clicking on the Frame by Frame Animation button on the Animation button, or choose Frame by Frame on the Animation menu. If you have checked "add to Frame by Frame Animation" on the save tab, you will see a list of animations that you have created. If not, you can add the animations by clicking on the "Add Flash" button. The table lists the image, display time, and the animation used. You can add, delete, and change the order of the animations on this page. The looping options allow you to change the number of times that the total animation displays.
5. Save and Preview. Here is the resulting image. You will always want to save and preview your image. During the preview, you will probably find animations that you want to go faster or slower. In addition, you may want the last animation to linger longer. For this tutorial, we increased the Last Frame Delay on the last animation so it would linger on the screen a bit longer. To do this, go back to the main animation screen, change the setting and then re-save.
